A Float Switch (Red) 2M is a liquid level sensor with a 2-meter cable used to automatically control the water level in tanks by switching a pump ON or OFF as the water level changes. Uses: Automatically fills overhead or storage water tanks. Prevents water tank overflow. Protects pumps from running dry when the water level is too low. Controls borehole, submersible, and booster pumps. Can activate an alarm when the water reaches a preset level.
